License Fees:
Private Ranch: When you sign the contract booking your hunt you will be required to sign a limited power of attorney allowing True Grit Trophy Outfitters, LLC to purchase your license for you. You must submit this form along with a deposit and the appropriate license fee. We will then obtain the guaranteed license for you and have it waiting for you when you arrive in camp.

Wilderness Hunts: regardless of whether you draw the license on your own or through our outfitter licensing program, you will be responsible for payment of all applicable license and/or fees at the time of application. If you use our licensing program we will have your license waiting for you in camp. If you have a drawn a tag on your own, we require that you bring us a photocopy of your license for our records.

Transportation to the Hunting Area:
Every hunter is responsible for their own transportation into camp. If you are flying in, car rental is available at most airports. We recommend that you fly into either Lubbock, Texas; El Paso, Texas; Midland, Texas; or Albuquerque, New Mexico depending on the location of your hunt.

If you choose to drive, detailed directions will be provided to you well in advance of your scheduled hunt.

Gratuities:
Gratuities/tips are strictly up to the hunter’s discretion. Both our guides and cooks work very hard to make your adventure truly a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience.

Non-Hunters:
Non-hunting adults are always welcome in camp for an additional charge of $100.00 per person/per day. Please fill out the contract for each person and submit these documents along with the hunter’s contract.

Taxes:
The state of New Mexico charges a gross receipts tax. This tax will be calculated for you and is required to be paid at the time you book your hunt.
